Here at Poker Fanatic we offer you, our readers, everything that there is to know about poker. True to our name, we are poker fans, and as poker fans we want you to be able to learn as much as you can about this centuries-old card game that remains popular to this day. We have the very basics of poker tackled, like the different terms used in poker games and the different nicknames that are used for particular poker hands. We also have, as expected, the different poker games that are offered in casinos and that are played at households all over the world. These games are tackled in detail, from their basic definitions to a brief retelling of their histories and an insight on their rules and mechanics. The many games are grouped according to their major groups – stud poker, draw poker and community card poker, so that you can make yourself familiar with the groups and the similarities that the games under these groups have. This will hopefully make it easier for you to learn the different games by taking it one group at a time.
We also did our best to throw in a few tips here and there to make your gameplay better and to make you a winning novice poker player. Of course, the best way to win is to be able to understand the rules and the mechanics very well, and so we did what we can to make the concepts easy for you to understand.
